Attendance

Attendance: (541) 923-4902

It doesn’t matter whether the absences are excused or unexcused — each missed day represents missed learning time. Missed days add up quickly: When a student misses as few as two days a month, that’s 10% of the school year. This increases the risk of academic and social-emotional struggles. (2 absences a month x by nine months = 18 days/10% of missed school days in a school year.)

This is what undefeated looks like!!! Thank you, Coach Randi and Coach Bowman!!!

RSD Calendar Changes

RSD Families:

In order to recapture a portion of missed instructional hours for students due to the recent snow days, we will need to extend the school year by a day and a half. This means, Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14, 2019 will both be FULL school days.

Again, the last day of school for students, kindergarten through 11th grade, will be a full day with regular release times on Friday, June 14, 2019.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during our snow days and for being awesome families to serve.

ALL IN, CAN DO!

Working Together to Make a Difference.

Our Principal

Our vision at Obsidian is All In, Can Do:  Working Together to Make a Difference.  We believe that students should be passionate and curious individuals! We know that with a collaborative, growth mindset, students can achieve anything they set their mind to.  Genius Hour at Obsidian encompasses this vision by allowing students to pursue their interests for one hour each week. Students’ curiosity will guide them to create, to present, to change the world, to make a difference.  We also offer sports opportunities at all grade levels and various clubs and activities throughout the school year.

Students at Obsidian have the potential to grow into amazing, confident individuals.  We look forward to partnering with you and your family. Welcome to the pack!
